Reza Ardehali is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, member of the Broad Stem Cell Research Center and Molecular, Cellular and Integrated Physiology. He received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Utah and his M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he did his fellowship in cardiology at Stanford and spent 4 years in Irving Weissman’s laboratory working on human embryonic stem cells as a model for regenerative therapy for heart disease.
